Monthly Message to Families:

A Community Effort: Growing Strong Together

April is an important point in the school year. Our students have settled into strong routines, growth is happening across Middletown classrooms, and you can feel the momentum building as we head into the final stretch. It’s also a good moment to pause and recognize what it takes from all of us to keep that momentum going.

Thank you to all Middie parents and community members for the role you play in making daily attendance a priority. Getting students to school each day matters, and your consistency sends a powerful message about the importance of learning and commitment. MCSD has continued to focus on improving daily attendance across the district, with initiatives that build awareness around the value of “showing up.” Those efforts are paying off, and we are grateful for the partnership that makes it possible.

Thank you, as well to our staff, who create schools where students want to be. You can see it in the relationships and the engaging learning experiences happening every day. Students are more likely to attend school when they feel connected and valued.

Spring break is here, and it is a well-earned opportunity to rest and recharge. Wishing all of our students, families, and staff a relaxing and enjoyable break. We look forward to coming back refreshed and ready to finish the year strong together.
