Honored to Serve the Middletown Community

It is an incredible honor to serve as the next Superintendent of Middletown City Schools. As I begin this journey with you, I am grateful for the warm welcome I have already received and excited to join a district with a proud tradition, dedicated educators, supportive families, outstanding students, and a community that believes in the power of public education.

As we begin this school year together, my first priority is to listen, learn, and build relationships. I look forward to visiting our schools, meeting our students and staff, connecting with families, and getting to know our community and business partners. Every conversation will help me better understand what makes Middletown special and how we can continue building on the strong foundation already in place.

I believe every student deserves to be known, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. As your superintendent, I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, and a spirit of collaboration. Together, we will foster a culture where high expectations, meaningful opportunities, and strong support help every student succeed.

Together, we will continue building a school system where every student is known, challenged, supported, and prepared for success beyond graduation. We will celebrate excellence in academics, athletics, the arts, and career readiness while ensuring every student has access to meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.

I believe great schools are built on trust, collaboration, and open communication. By working together, we can continue creating an environment where students feel inspired, staff feel supported, families feel connected, and our community takes pride in the success of every Middie.

As the excitement of a new school year begins, I encourage each of us to embrace the opportunities ahead. There will be moments to learn, to grow, to celebrate, and to overcome challenges together. I am confident that, as one Middie community, we will accomplish great things.
