Adopt A Class
Adopt A Class (AAC) connects businesses, local government, and civic groups with students at schools in underserved communities. Through this partnership, students interact with professionals from various fields, gain real-world insights, and cultivate essential skills extending beyond the classroom. Mentor teams expose students to a breadth of experiences and training to be job and career-ready.
Throughout the school year, mentor teams engage with students for one hour, once a month via monthly school visits, educational activities, and field trips.
AAC's model aligns with MCSD's commitment to the Passport to Tomorrow Strategic Vision, which guarantees every student is ready for a career, college, military, and life after high school.
