6-8 Career Exploration

Students in grades 6-8 engage in Career Exploration.

Students in this grade level begin to narrow their focus by choosing career fields that appeal to them, and which career clusters under those fields interest them.

The exploration part of the journey comes to a close in eighth grade, by viewing career clusters through the lens of Employment, Enrollment, Entrepreneurship, and Enlistment.

Learning experiences at this grade level include challenge-based learning, learner autonomy, inquiry, differentiation, guest speakers, and field trips.
