Afternoon & Evening Events
All events scheduled to take place on school campuses this afternoon and evening are canceled, including athletic practices and games.

Athletic events scheduled at Barnitz Stadium will continue as planned, as the facility was not impacted by the water main break. School building leadership and the Athletic Department will communicate plans for rescheduling events as needed.

School Tomorrow
At this time, we plan to have school tomorrow on a normal schedule and on time. If anything changes, we will communicate updates to families as soon as possible.

Dismissal Timeline for Today

Due to the water main break impacting multiple buildings, we will follow the dismissal schedule below:

Parent Pick-Up: Parents may pick up their students at any time today. Please follow your school’s regular pick-up procedures.

12:40 p.m. — Buses will board and begin routes for Middletown High School students. Students who walk will be dismissed at this time. Parents may pickup at any time today.

1:15 p.m. — Buses will board and begin routes for Middletown Middle School, Miller Ridge, and Central Academy students. Students who walk will be dismissed at this time. Parents may pickup at any time today.

2:05 p.m. — Buses will board and begin routes for Amanda, Creekview, Mayfield, Rosa Parks, and Wildwood students. Students who walk will be dismissed at this time. Parents may pickup at any time today.

Water Main Break Update

Several of our buildings are currently experiencing a water main break.

Students and staff are safe, and lunch will continue as scheduled. Public Works crews are responding and evaluating the situation and are working closely with the MCSD Maintenance team.

We will provide an update by noon regarding any changes to the school day or after-school activities and events.
