Hilltop OBGYN surprises Ms. Wilson's third grade class with personal Christmas gifts

It's a very merry Christmas for students in Ms. Wilson's third grade class at Amanda Elementary, thanks to the generosity of Hilltop OBGYN.

As part of Middletown City School District's partnership with Adopt A Class, Ms. Wilson's class was "adopted" by Hilltop OBGYN at the beginning of the school year.

This December, Hilltop surprised Ms. Wilson's entire class with their very own Christmas!

 

Before Thanksgiving break, the Adopt A Class partner asked students to write a list of things they might like to get for Christmas this year. Then on Thursday, December 14, Hilltop employees put on their Santa hats, showing up to class with bags of gifts for each student, and even for Ms. Wilson, too.

 

Inside the gift bags were the students' favorite bag of chips, their favorite candy, a fuzzy blanket with their favorite color/Disney character, a toy they asked for, a personalized water bottle with their name and favorite animal/sport, and a brand new pair of Crocs! Hilltop also allowed each student to pick out 15 charms for their Crocs.

 

"I am still in disbelief," Ms. Wilson said of Hilltop's thoughtfulness. "It was a very emotional and special moment for all of us as a class." 

 

Ms. Wilson said some of her students were brought to tears opening their gifts, and for some of them, it will be the only gifts they open this Christmas.
