On September 26, 2018 Butler Health Plan will hold a ribbon-cutting event for the opening of a Health and Wellness Center, a new facility that will provide access to primary and preventive healthcare to Butler Health Plan members.  Butler Health Plan – a division of Optimal Health Initiatives – is a governmental entity group currently providing medical and dental coverage for the benefit of 12 southwest Ohio school districts and an Educational Service Center.  Members of Butler Health Plan include Butler County Educational Service Center, Butler Tech Career Development School, Fairfield City Schools, Great Oaks Career Campuses, Hamilton City School District, Madison Local School District, Middletown City School District, Monroe Local School District, New Miami Local School District, Ross Local School District, Sycamore Community School District and Talawanda City School District.

The Health and Wellness Center will be managed and operated by Tennessee-based industry pioneer and innovator in onsite healthcare, CareHere, as a collaboration with Butler Advantage, a division of Butler Health Plan. CareHere is known for their patient-centered approach and delivering care with enthusiasm and compassion. Appointments are never double-booked, so there is little or no wait time, enabling members to be served quickly, feeling better fast, and back to work quickly.

The Health and Wellness Center will offer primary care services with no copayments, no deductibles, and no cost for on-site generic medications.  This type of cost savings is an obvious benefit to employees and their families. Perhaps just as important, this innovative model has a proven track record of a significant reduction of the employer’s overall healthcare dollars spent over the long term.

"CareHere is honored to have been chosen by Butler Health Plan as their partner in providing their employees with quality, cost-effective healthcare. Our providers and wellness coaches are committed to the care of each of our patients by spending quality time with them in order to provide the optimal service with enthusiasm and compassion.” stated Ben Baker, CareHere Co-founder, and COO.

“The collaboration between Butler Advantage and CareHere is one that is extremely beneficial to our employees and their families covered under Butler Health Plan,” stated Randy Bertram, Chair of the Butler Advantage Board and Treasurer of Middletown City School District.  “I am excited to be part of this ground breaking adventure and to be able to offer such an extraordinary benefit to our employees.”
