Middletown students have the opportunity to study art through a variety of student art experiences in 2 and 3D hands on activities for each grade level.

Miami University Middletown hosts the Middletown City School District All District Art Show. Attendance at this event numbers between 600-800 people each year.

A Highview 6th Grade student was awarded Honorable Mention in the Tiger Safety Calendar Contest sponsored by Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz.

Wildwood students participate in the Miami Valley Chapter of the Audubon Society’s Art Contest (in March). Throughout the years, many students have won Excellence or Merit Awards.

Visual Arts Awards

Middletown art teachers selected art students from each school to have their art featured as a permanent display in the new board offices at the Middletown city building. Thirteen students and their art teachers are recognized in this permanent display. Additionally, student art work is featured in the Middletown City building hallway on a continuous rotation throughout the year.
