Current Events
    Hello Parents,
Thank you parents that came out for the fifth grade parent orientation. The parents that didn't attend, I sent home a packet for you to see what is going on in fifth grade. Please feel free to email or call with any questions.
The fifth grade students this year will be having a spelling test weekly. Be sure to be looking for spelling words for your son or daughter to study. Also, each fifth grade child needs to be reading a chapter book for reading time during the school day and for 20 min weekly at home. There is a reading sheet that needs to be signed after your son or daughter has read to you for twenty minutes during the week.
Many of my students do not know their multiplication facts. Please study multiplication facts with your child by using flash cards, asking multiplication problems at the dinner table or in the car, or play the multiplication game in the link below on the computer.

I would love to have parents and or grandparents come into my room and listen to students read. If you are interested, please email me or call me.
Progress reports are being sent out this year every 5 weeks and these progress reports match up with your child's IEP goals.
