1. Most books may be checked out for two weeks.
2. Reference and reserve materials may be used in the library during the school day or checked out overnight at the end of the school day. They are due before first period the following day. Overnight materials include reference works.
3. Periodicals and videos may NOT be checked out by students
4. Students may check out 3 books at one time, but only 2 can be in one subject matter.
5. Checkout fine limit is $2.00. If student says they were off sick and couldn't return book/s, student must show proof that it was an excused absence. No additional books may be checked out if their fine is over $2.00. (Disciplinary absence such as expulsion, etc. are not excused.)
Renewal Policies
1. Regular materials may be renewed twice. The book/s must be present in order to renew them.
2. Overnight materials are not renewable but may be checked out again at the end of the school day.
Fines

4. Students may not check out materials until fines are paid. This is under the discretion of the media specialist.
