Class Description
We are experiencing many new things in music:singing,dancing,creating,performing melodies on the soprano recorders,music symbols, composers, and playing the Orff instruments. Fifth graders will have an opportunity to play the Alto Recorder this year.Girls: Please make sure you have on shoes that are flat/tennis shoes. I do not want anyone falling as we are creating!!!! Grades 4 and 5: You will need your recorders every music class .

Current Events
Orff Ensemble is our performance group. It meets on Tuesdays and Fridays at 2:45.The group consists of fourth and fifth grade students.
The third graders will start playing their recorders in March. We will learn to play songs on our soprano recorders. We will play Hot Cross Buns I and II, Mary had a Little Lamb,Chocolate Cinnamon, Suo Gan, and Babylon's Falling. Keep practicing reading the staff. Remember: EVERY GOOD BOY DOES FINE for the lines and FACE for the spaces.
